Patrick, Shannon and Emma's PhotoBlog
Patrick Sullivan, Shannon Sullivan, and their daughter, Emma, of Atlanta, GA have created this little 'Blog to allow us to share our lives, news, photos and thoughts with our family and friends. We hope you enjoy this little introspection!
New Year's Eve @ 295 Arizona Ave
We were happy to have a bunch of friends over tonight to celebrate the end of 2006 and the beginning of 2007. Jim Comiskey (yes, of those Comiskey's) and Michelle Morgan gettin' cozy in this picture.

Chad Polk, Rob Schuler, Paige Johnson and Mandy Schuler all give their opinions on how to work Rob's newest Xmas toy, a Canon digital camera. Maybe we can convince Rob to start doing one of these Blog things now.
Rob and Chad appear delighted and fascinated with the capabilities of the new toy.
Has anyone out there ever played this game called "Catch Phrase"? I'm telling you...this game is a great mix of trivia and wholesome family violence all wrapped into one. Guys vs. Girls. Guys ask and answer a trivia question off the little disk thing in my hands and have to pass it off to the other team, all while a gosh-awful timer is blaring away in the background. Needless to say, the disk becomes an object to hurl at the other team after a few moments of heated back-and-forth. Seems like the Guys always ended up with the $#^# disk in our hands when the buzzer went off.
Christmas 2006 @ Arizona Avenue
Our first Christmas in our new home on Arizona Ave. We found a pretty good picture that ended up being our Christmas card for this year. It will be sooo good to wake up in our own beds for Christmas for the first time in many years!

. . . and the Polar Bears are very excited about their first Christmas in their new home too. No, really . . . they are.
. . . . and the stockings were hung with care, in the hopes that Santa would soon be there.
Christmas Morning . . . and Santa has made a nice delivery to the Sullivan household. Some nicely wrapped presents under the tree, and a few things in the stocking and laid out by Santa for everyone (esp. the anti-Dookies) to enjoy! I always wonder . . . how does Santa know that we've moved this year, and will he be able to find us? Very concerning issues that were a big relief for us when we woke up on Xmas morning.

It's already been a long Christmas morning for Frannie. It's barely past noon and she can't stay awake for "The Polar Express" DVD.

Little Sister is Gettin' Hitched!
On Christmas Eve, we got a wonderful surprise during a visit by Becky and Jim, (a very pregnant!) Teri and Charlie, and Amanda and Hugh. So, my little sister is getting hitched! (Check out the shiny thing on her left hand!) We are so very excited and happy for her and Hugh, and we are looking forward to their wedding in the fall of 2007. Congrats to you both!!!

Shannon's Donation to Locks of Love
So, for all those of you who have been around Atlanta the past few months, you have seen Shannon's hair just get to an unbelievably long length. Well, she has been growing it out to donate to
Locks of Love, an organization that accepts hair donations to make wigs for cancer treatment patients.

. . . and the final result! Wow, now that's a big difference. I think I like it much better short than 10 feet long!
Nate Polk Christening
Shannon and I were both humbled and ecstatic to be asked by Dawn Haynie and Chad Polk to be the Godparents to their second little guy to the family, Nathaniel Lang Polk. Today was his Christening at Haygood. He cooperated very well!
