Rev. Jim Higgins Updates from Iraq

Jim has sent us a few updates since his departure for Kuwait and Iraq. He's doing well, staying very busy and, yes, finding himself having to stay alert and aware of his surroundings.

If you want to learn more about Jim, read some of his emails and communications to the outside world about what's going on in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom, he's hopped on this technology bandwagon of blogging too. His blog is called "Letters from the Desert", which is a great title!

This reminds me of one of my favorite songs that I still hear occasionally, a John Michael Montgomery compilation from 2004 called, "Letters from Home". The extended version of this song has deployed soldiers and families reading letters from one another.
